NATURSEA-PV is pleased to announce its participation as a guest project in an upcoming webinar jointly organised with the SUREWAVE consortium. The event, titled “From Machine Learning to High-Fidelity Concrete Modelling for Offshore Applications,” will bring together leading experts to present the latest research and modelling approaches for offshore concrete structures.

The webinar will explore cutting-edge methods ranging from machine learning prediction tools to high‑fidelity simulations of mass transport and reinforced concrete behaviour. These topics are central to the development of durable, reliable, and innovative offshore platforms—an area where both SUREWAVE and NATURSEA-PV are actively contributing.

Webinar Agenda

  • Welcome – Balram Panjwani (SINTEF) & Edurne Erkizia (TECNALIA)
  • Prediction of Concrete Properties using Machine Learning – Virgile Delhaye, SINTEF, Norway
  • Thermodynamic Modeling of Cement Hydration and Concrete Durability – Neven Ukrainczyk, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany
  • High-Fidelity Simulation of Mass Transport in Geometrically Complex 3D Structures – Max Löher, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany
  • High-Fidelity Modelling of Reinforced Concrete (Validation and Prediction) – Aritz Dorronsoro Larbide, CEIT, Spain
