The NATURSEA-PV Project is among the supporters of the international workshop “Sustainable Materials for Energy and Climate Solutions 2026”, organised by CSIC partners and scheduled for 22–24 April 2026 at the Auditorium of the Centro de Física de Materiales (CFM CSIC-UPV/EHU) in Donostia – San Sebastián, Spain.
The event is designed as a discussion forum exploring the potential of sustainable materials for energy and climate applications, with special focus on innovative solutions based on concrete and cement-based materials. Topics will range from CO₂ capture and thermal energy storage to phase change materials, radiative cooling, computational methods and electrochemical storage.
The workshop is co-funded by the Transborder Laboratory of Cooperation (LTC) Green Concrete and the EU-funded projects NATURSEA-PV and CSINC.
Keynote speakers include researchers from leading international institutions such as UC Berkeley, Princeton University, University of Genoa and the Universidad Pública de Navarra. Also, NATURSEA-PV Project Coordinator, Edurne Erkizia (TECNALIA) will give a speech about our Project.
